Convention Tour Site a Top 10 Store in the US

RCI member, Schimpff's Confectionery, was named as one of the top 10 candy stores in the country by USA Today. Chocolate and candymakers attending the RCI National Convention & Industry Expo June 21-25 in Lexington, Kentucky will get a peek into operations of the store in an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the store hosted by owners Warren & Jill Schimpff.

The chocolate panning machine is making chocolate covered cranberries

 


The non-pareil machine was purchased in 1978 and has made 2,000lbs of non-pareils in one day!


 


 



These panned cranberries get coated with 100lbs of chocolate per 50lbs of fruit in the rotating drum.

 

 

Dorothy Cox is known for her great gift baskets and their buttercrunch toffee
