Owned by Barry and Jean Bomboy, joined by their children Charlie and Kathy, Bomboy’s chocolates is located in the charming historic town of Havre de Grace nestled where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Susquehanna River. See how Bomboy’s crafts some of their signature confections, such as almond butter toffee, in addition to their own hard ice cream.

Louis J. Rheb Candy Co. RCI Member
In 1917 newlyweds Louis and Esther Rheb started making candy in the basement of their home. Taffy, brittle, fudge and jellies were the first candies Louis learned to make. As the years passed, Louis developed more recipes and Esther learned to hand dip the centers in velvety chocolate which they blended to complement each piece of candy. In 1950, the couple converted their garage into a store, which remains their main store today. Now in its fourth generation, their commitment to quality hand-dipped chocolates has made Rheb's a Baltimore institution.

Wockenfuss Candy Co. RCI Member
Wockenfuss Candy Co. is proud to be one of the oldest candy makers in Baltimore. Now in its fifth generation, the family-owned business was founded in 1915 after Herman Charles Wockenfuss came to America from Germany. Herman Charles operated the business until his son, Herman Lee, and wife Marian, took over in 1945 after returning from World War II. Under Herman Lee’s direction, the business continued to evolve, adding three more stores in Northeast Baltimore. Herman Lee was instrumental in creating many signature chocolate confections still made today. Currently three generations of Wockenfuss family, including owners Paul and Lynn Wockenfuss, operate seven retail stores in Maryland.
