Travel Recommendations
The course is located at Wockenfuss Candies (6831 Harford Rd) approximately 24 miles (30 minutes) northwest of Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). For students flying, we recommend arriving to BWI on Monday,
August 11 and departing after 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 14. Students may rent a car at BWI, Uber or Thoroughbred car service is also available.
All departure arrangements need to be scheduled for after the course has officially concluded in order to receive your certificate of completion. Early departure detracts from the experience and is a distraction to attendees.

What to Bring
Dress should be functional for work in the classroom and the kitchen laboratory setting. Students should wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and bring an apron or lab coat. Students must comply with all FDA regulations for food facilities; all hair must be tied back, and hair and beard nets will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring problematic candies for critical sensory evaluation and to learn problem solving techniques.
