Geraldine Cox of Dorothy Cox Chocolates Has Passed Away

Longtime RCI member Geraldine Cox, 84, of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Geraldine was the wife of the late Francis J. Cox, past RCI Board President, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Together, they operated Dorothy Cox Chocolates—founded in 1928 by Francis’ great-aunt, Dorothy—and continued in the family business until Francis’ passing in 2023. Geraldine remained involved at the store until her illness in 2024.
