The Grand Confection Award Application
To enter products for consideration as the Grand Confection, participants must submit the following entry form by May 1, 2026. Applicants must also be active RCI Candy Maker Members and must be registered for the RCI Candy Convention (when registration becomes available). The 2026 Confection of the Year is the Cream—a soft, smooth fondant-based or buttercream-based center, fully enrobed in chocolate. All entries must be prepared entirely by the entrant using ingredients of their own selection; commercially prepared fillings are not permitted.
