RCI operates under the standards of association policies to facilitate responsible organization management. Policies are subject to change without notice. Current policies are listed below; other policies may apply for specific events. See event registration forms for complete details.

ADA Policy
Retail Confectioners International does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion or disability in admission to, access to, or operations of programs, services or activities. If you need special accommodations, contact our office at 800-545-5381. 

Cancellation Policy 
If registration is cancelled up to two weeks prior to the first day of the event, you will be given a full refund minus a $75 processing fee; no full or partial refunds will be honored for cancellations made less than two weeks before the event begins. Some events and education courses require four weeks cancellation policy; view specific event information for details.

Event Registration Information Sharing
The names of participants registered for RCI events and education courses are shared among fellow attendees and RCI members including participant contact information. By registering for these events, participants agree to share your name and contact information with fellow event attendees and RCI members in order to facilitate networking among parties. Additionally, by registering participants give permission to use photographs and video of you for marketing purposes including social media marketing.

Event Substitution Policy
After the refund period, substitutions for registrations are permitted within the same company without penalty.  A registration form for the substitute attendee must be completed in order to process.  One substitute per original registrant. Substitutions cannot be made after a badge has been issued on-site. 

Outstanding Debt Policy
Management requires members of RCI or exhibitors to be current in all obligations to RCI. Members who have any outstanding monies owed to RCI are not permitted to register for any events, advertising, exhibit booths, educational courses or any other association benefits until the outstanding debt has been satisfied.

Return Check Policy
It is understood and agreed that upon presentation of a check as the form of payment for any transactions with RCI, that you are entering into a contractual agreement that obligates you and holds you responsible for any and all penalties, costs and incidental damages allowable under law, but not limited to, return check charges, state surcharges, interest, collection costs, legal expenses, attorney fees and expenses incidental to the principal obligation on any check that is returned non-payable. The return check fee is $30.00 or current rate assessed by bank.

Tour Attendees
All participants in store tours during RCI events must adhere to industry standards for the food industry. Tour attendees need to wear closed-toe shoes, wear no jewelry and comply with any other rules imposed by each store.
