TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS

The course is located at Savage Bros. Co. (1825 Greenleaf Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL) approximately a 10 minute drive from O'Hare International Airport (ORD). For students flying, we recommend arriving to ORD on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 and departing after 3:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019.

All departure arrangements need to be scheduled for after the course has officially concluded in order to receive your certificate of completion. Early departure detracts from the experience and is a distraction to attendees.

WHAT TO BRING

Dress should be functional for work in the classroom and the kitchen laboratory setting. Students should wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes and bring an apron or lab coat. Students must comply with all FDA regulations for food facilities; all hair must be tied back, and hair and beard nets will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring problematic candies for critical sensory evaluation and problem solving.
