2018 RCI Fall Regional Conference



Thank you for your interest in presenting at Retail Confectioners International's
2019 Fall Regional Conference in Nashville, TN.

Please review the following information before submitting your presentation: 

  • All sessions are scheduled to take place Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

  • There are four 50-minute sessions available which will take place in meeting rooms at the host hotel - Loews Vanderbilt Hotel Nashville. Longer or shorter sessions may be available upon request. Session length includes time for participant question and answer.   

  • The audience is comprised primarily of candy store owners and staff who work in their businesses. To be a candy maker member of RCI, companies must, both, manufacture and retail their products. The majority of the attendees will be from the United States, but members from Canada will also likely be present. The median age is 45-50 years old, and they learn best from hands-on presentations with visual aids and enjoy opportunities to interact. 

  • All presentations must comply with federal copyright infringement laws. No materials copied from other resources without the express written consent by the author may be submitted for RCI events. If a presenter wishes to use materials from a publication, another conference or a source not directly written by the presenter, a copy of written consent to use and copy the material must be provided to the RCI office with your materials. 

  • Selected presenters are responsible for developing session content that matches the proposed title and description. Presenters must comply with all deadlines set forth by RCI for presentation material and handouts.

July 15, 2019 Power Point presentations and handouts due to RCI
August 20, 2019 Education presentation at RCI Fall Regional Conference


By electronically signing this proposal, you agree if your presentation is selected that you will develop content that complies with copyright laws and matches the proposed title and description. You will send a complete Power Point and/or handouts to RCI for review as outlined in the key dates. You also agree to allow your presentation to be photographed, recorded and distributed.
