Lagomarcino's makes thousands of caramel apples

RCI member Lagomarcino’s of Moline, Illinois, was recently featured in a local TV segment highlighting the shop’s long-standing fall tradition of handmade caramel apples.

Terry Otten shared, “We make the caramel every day,” noting that it’s a process that hasn’t changed in decades. “You can buy caramel apples anywhere. We like to say, the secret’s in the caramel.”

Katie Lagomarcino Hylton added that they start their caramel apple season early to meet demand from customers who crave them year-round.
