Union Confectionery Machine to Sell NECCO Assets

Union Confectionery Machinery has been named as the exclusive liquidator for the majority of assets belonging to NECCO (New England Confectionery Company) in Revere, Massachusetts.

The intellectual property available for immediate sale includes Mary Jane®, Mighty Malt® Milk Balls, Haviland Thin Mints®, Candy Buttons®, Clark Bar®, Slap Stix® & Banana Splits®.

The machinery and equipment to produce these brands is now also available.

Necco Wafers®, Sweethearts® and Canada Mints® are unavailable for sale.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own these nostalgic brands and the equipment used to produce and package them. Included in the sale are enrobing lines, starch moguls, coating pans, chocolate tanks, cut and wrap lines for taffy and toffee, baggers, flow wrappers, kitchens for soft candy, peanut roasting, blanching and peanut butter milling, liquid and dry storage tanks and a vast array of other machinery.

Any intellectual property or machinery that remains unsold by summer’s end shall be sold at public auction on site at the factory and simulcast online during the week of September 23rd.
