Tour the CATIE Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center and explore their International Cacao Collection, one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of cacao species and varieties. After lunch, visit the greenhouse and the CATIE Seed Bank to learn about their seed generation and conservation efforts. Experience the 0° F (-18° C) environment where the seeds are dried, packaged and stored.
