Abbott's Candy
Hagerstown, IN

Abbott’s Candy Shop is family owned and operated. The Noel family opened their first location in 1993 and in 2012, purchased the candy store and factory in Hagerstown from the Abbott family. Continuing an Indiana tradition, Abbott’s Candy Shop uses original, 100-year old recipes and methods to hand craft their delicious caramels and chocolates. Attendees will tour the retail store and factory, experiencing the production of Abbott’s signature treats. 

    Schimpff's Confectionery
Jeffersonville, IN

Schimpff’s Confectionery is one of the oldest, family-owned candy businesses in the United States. Opened in its present location in 1891, the family has been producing handmade candies for 125 years and seen four generations. In 1990, great-grandson, Warren Schimpff, and wife, Jill, purchased the business. This unique candy store features live candy-making demonstrations, a candy museum, lunch room and soda fountain, located in Jeffersonville’s historic district. 

Donaldson’s Finer

Lebanon, Indiana 

Since 1966, when George and Peg Donaldson purchased the business, their chocolates have been made the old-fashioned way, with fresh butter, whole milk, pure cane sugar and topped with quality chocolate and lots of Hoosier pride. It’s a difference you’ll taste immediately - and never forget! Located in a remodeled farm house, attendees will have the opportunity to view the kitchen in operation, including hand-dipping and barks made on a slab. 
    Goat Milk Stuff
Scottsburg, IN

In 2008, Goat Milk Stuff was born. The entire Jonas family, including PJ and Jim’s eight kids, was drafted into the entrepreneurial adventure. After working hard to increase their goat herd, they expanded production to include food in 2015. From milking the goats, to the final shipping of orders, each member of the family participates in producing handmade goat milk soaps, caramel candies, fudge, toffee, goat cheese and everything pertaining to Goat Milk Stuff.

Good's Candy Shop
Anderson, IN

The Good’s family chocolate business dates back to the 1940s. Randy Good purchased the business from his parents in 1992, which has now grown to one of the largest candy and ice cream operations in the state. Although the majority of sales are retail, the Good’s brand can be found in over 300 gift shops in Indiana through their wholesale division. Tour guests will also enjoy lunch and live music performed on the Good’s Free Stage.

The Best Chocolate In Town was founded in 1998 by Elizabeth Garber with a goal to provide premium, gourmet chocolates and friendly customer service. Located in the Cultural Arts District of Downtown Indianapolis, they create hand-made chocolates and desserts. Specializing in hand-made truffles and sea salt caramels, they focus on creating quality chocolates and desserts while supporting other local small businesses.
