  • Operations Manager, Sweet Jubilee Gourmet, Mechanicsburg, PA - Job Description: This is a hands-on position in which the incumbent must provide leadership, management and motivation to the production teams to manufacture confectionery products that meet client expectations in an FDA regulated facility.  The incumbent is also responsible for planning production schedules with an understanding of the workflow, load factors, team performance capabilities and resources, all with an end to maintain fidelity of client shipping date commitments.  Essential Duties: Maintain a food-safe facility that meets all FDA requirements.  Organize, prioritize and execute manufacturing activities, including process and cleaning validation, to manufacture confectionery products.  Plan and oversee the production process and ensure production stays on schedule.  Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands.  Drive key operational measurements including costs, production, quality, efficiency, fulfillment and on-time delivery.  Estimate costs and set quality standards.  Maintain inventory and initiate purchasing of all cost of goods items.  Plan for the maximum ulitization of all production equipment including scheduled maintenance.  Prioritize, plan and justify for future needs through Annual Capital Project requests.  Develop and supervise direct reports through mentoring and training.
