Munson’s Chocolates celebrates turning 70 this year!  Founded by Ben and Josephine Munson in 1946 and originally called the “Dandy Candy Company,” Munson’s is a third generation candy family and Connecticut's largest retail chocolate manufacturer with nine stores throughout the state. In celebration of this milestone, Munson’s has been busy remolding their flagship retail store in Bolton and giving back to the community and customers who have supported them for seven decades. Karen Munson said, “We have significantly increased our charitable giving over the past year. We are especially proud of the limited-edition chocolates we have created and sold to benefit specific charities like Wounded Warriors, Channel 3 kid’s camp and the American Cancer Society. We are honored to support the communities where we have stores and our employees work and live."

To thank their customers, Munson’s created a special 70th Anniversary chocolate bar which is being given out to customers free (while supplies last)  with a minimum purchase of $10 at participating Munsons locations.
